Mines of Time: The new multimedia exhibit with a revolving
stage, 360-degree projection screen and seven projectors. This fascinating
presentation tells of the creation of the park, stories of the goddess
Hathor and other Egyptian gods, and the story of copper, its production
and more.

Valley of Inscriptions: An open-air museum displaying authentic
rock carvings from the Egyptian era and ten replicas of
rock carvings from different periods brought together from the Arava
and the Sinai.

Bicycle rentals for touring on your own through the park, near
the lake.

Pundak Haagam, our lakeshore restaurant offers
light meals, beverages, snacks, and ice cream treats.

At the Bedouin tent by the lake, relax on the cushions and enjoy
a light Middle Eastern-style meal.

Rappelling and Omega are available by advance booking.

Arrangements can be made for sleeping out in tents, including
rental of mats, mattresses, lights, and hot showers.

A guide to the sites in Timna can be arranged at the entrance
to the park.

Instructions for our visitors

Drive on the marked dirt roads onlydo not drive off the
shoulders.

The antiquities, wildlife, and plants are rare and protected by
law. Please help us preserve the natural beauty of the area as it
is.

Obey the instructions of the park rangers.

Lighting fires along the hiking trails is forbidden.
-
It is essential to carry water,and to wear a hat and suitable
shoes on hikes. Bottled water is available at the entrance.
